Maka Sikharulidze is a highly accomplished educator and changemaker from Georgia, with over 15 years of experience in teaching and empowering learners from diverse backgrounds and abilities. As a passionate advocate for inclusive, quality education, Maka has established herself as a leader in her field, dedicated to promoting educational excellence and social justice.

Throughout her career, Maka has demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation, founding an educational center that prepares students for national and international exams and leading the Family and Child Support Network in Georgia, advocating for inclusive education and children’s rights. She has also trained educators in inclusive teaching strategies and digital tools, further solidifying her expertise.

Maka’s achievements are noteworthy, including the development of inclusive educational resources, such as an illustrated English vocabulary book and interactive workbook, and co-authoring a children’s storybook inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has represented Georgia at international forums related to SDG 4 – Quality Education, showcasing her commitment to global educational initiatives.

Maka’s vision for 2030 aligns perfectly with WWO’s mission: building an inclusive, sustainable, and equitable learning environment. Through her collaborative approach, Maka works with global networks and organizations to drive meaningful change locally and internationally, empowering young learners and teenagers through English-speaking clubs and public speaking courses.
