Paddy Kennedy
Paddy is a professional speaker, speech coach, leadership and strategic communication trainer, voice coach, and accent reduction teacher. She is the Principal of her own International Communication company, Kennedy Communication Studio. Her clients come to her from over 90 countries, all looking for a better, more effective way to speak, communicate, and lead. She is considered a Global Thought Leader in the field of Voice and Communication.
Paddy is also the Vice-President of Ashraf & Kennedy Leading Consultancy, based in Sohar, Oman.
Paddy spent 10 years in New York City working with Business leaders, Professionals and UN Ministers in the field of Global Communication. Today, she works with Global Business leaders and professionals, helping them to strategize their leadership and communication for a winning outcome. She is the author of several training programs which cross a wide spectrum of business and professional subjects.
Her Middle Eastern client list maintains its growth with a focus on Global Leadership, International Language, Voice Development, Accent Reduction, Strategic Communication, and Voice Development.
Her article, “The Most Important Thing” is published in the book, Women On Success, a collection of articles written by women from around the world, compiled by Mr Mohamed Isa. Her article, “Free Your Voice, Women of the World” appeared in the January 2021 edition of Business Fit Magazine.
In 2016, Paddy was asked to write a Women in Leadership Development Program for Women in Northern and East Europe. This program, You ARE Enough, continues to be successfully delivered across Europe and in the Middle East.
Her latest program, Your Brave Voice, is written exclusively for women who desire to uncover their true, authentic voice and then learn the secrets of a radio journalist. She is presently writing her book, Your Brave Voice: Speak from Your Soul and Sound Like a Professional. Paddy considers this to be the most important work in her long career.
This exciting new program has been delivered globally with its most recent success in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where Paddy presented the program to the US Embassy in Riyadh as well as the US Consulate General in Dhahran. She is presently in contract negotiations for integrating this work into two well-known Middle East Corporations.
For the past 13 years, Paddy has coached dozens of Toastmasters International leaders and is proud to say that more than half of the International Committee and Board of Directors of Toastmasters International are or have been her clients. She has been a coach to three International Presidents of the global organization with a fourth client, Richard Peck, presently the International President. The upcoming two Presidents, Margaret Page and Matt Kinsey, have also been her clients.
Paddy has been a professional speaker since 1997 and has since spoken in more than 30 countries. She is passionate about her work and has no desire to retire. At 68 years of age, Paddy still believes that the best is yet to come! Paddy lives in Vancouver Canada and makes several trips a year to the GCC Region where she bases herself in Sohar, Oman.
